Please don't allow footwear inside Langar Hall. If that is not possible, please don't call it Langar Hall, it can be a gathering hall. Langar should be given its respect

People WITH SHOES sitting on chairs and tables in Langar Hall. It looks less like a langar hall and more like a restaurant. Chairs and tables should be for the disabled and the elderly who can't sit down and fold their legs. This is totally against the most fundamental concept of langar.

Good Parking space, well maintained gurdwara Sahib Ji, clean Langar hall , according to me everything is good instead of one thing that sometimes I feel they are just making money with personal occasions/Parties.

We reached out to several local gurdwaras for our grandfather’s funeral rites, including holding the service at the funeral home and the final Ardaas at the temple. Unfortunately, two local temples were focused on charging fees for the Ardaas and Langar.
When we called Brookside Gurdwara, we spoke with Giani Dharam Singh, who was incredibly kind and understanding. I explained that we were having a small service for Papa, (45) and he reassured me, saying, “No worries, we will take care of all the necessary rituals.” When I asked about the charges, given our previous experiences, he responded that it wasn’t about money but about performing the final rites, and any donation we wished to give would be sufficient. We were pleasantly surprised by his compassionate approach.
At the funeral home, Giani Kulwant Singh from Brookside led the service. He was polite, caring, and incredibly patient, creating a comforting environment for us all. Giani Dharam Singh then performed the final rites at the temple. His Ardaas was beautifully recited, and he was compassionate and sensitive to the emotions of the day. He also reminded us to partake in Guru Ghar Langar after the ceremony, offering us further comfort.
We will forever be grateful to Brookside Gurdwara for their caring and compassionate approach. They didn’t focus on money during our time of grief but instead supported us in a heartfelt, meaningful way during the loss of our loved one.
