During late 1900’s, many Sikh families settled in the Golden. Mostly worked in lumber mills. After hard work and the with a lot of respect they had decided to built this Gurudwara Sahib in 1902. One of the oldest in the Canada. Must visit if you’re passing by Golden on Trans Canada Hwy 1.

It is historic! Not much on display, but Bhai Ranjit ji was super nice in offering some parshad, and history tidbits.
The parking lot is at the rear of the building.
For mostly few people managing it, the premises are decently maintained and washrooms are clean!
Note, cow the sangat is limited, there is no Langer available.

On a roadtrip, was seeking a peaceful place of consecration for morning meditation.
Was turned away,
told "we do not do that kind of meditation here" at their temple. Despite no prior knowledge of my intentions.
Not welcoming to newcomers.
