The sevadars here are liars and rude. Leave your arrogance outside - don’t bring it into the gurdwara at least. I noticed a few things during my last visit that I found problematic - note all of these occurred during a wedding, where you would expect them to take greater care of details for the comfort of all the visitors, especially considering nothing is free and they charge thousands for a wedding.

1) Women’s WC was out of toilet paper. Why wouldn’t you stock up the WCs with toilet paper when you know a wedding is happening that day? When someone asked a sevadar to provide toilet paper, he was about to go into the women’s WC to stock it up himself. Sir, that is something you should do after-hours, you should not walk into the women’s WC during operational hours when you do not know if someone is in there or not. Luckily the lady that notified him stopped him and stocked them herself.

2) The darbar hall smells moldy - when was the last time they left the door open or opened windows to let in fresh air?

3) The darbar hall did not have AC or fans on, and when a sevadar was asked, he gave twisted answers like “we save - we don’t turn them on” or “the ac is already on, we can’t increase it” or “only one fan works on the women’s side.” I don’t know why he kept talking about the women’s side, because the AC and fans were requested to be turned on for the comfort of EVERYONE, not just women. He said more things that were conflicting and did not make sense, also who cares if only one fan works, still turn it on so there is at least circulation of air. Turns out, he lied. The AC was not on. Right before the rest of the wedding guests came into the darbar hall, a granthi turned on the AC and fans. Why would you lie and dismiss someone that is telling you to turn these things on ahead of time so that the wedding is conducted in comfort?

4) Before the wedding started: a sevadar was sitting in the back of the darbar hall to give out parshad. And some members of the kirtan jatha were sitting inside as well. The one in the back was on his phone, full volume, watching a video that was playing music. Middle person of a kirtan jatha was gossiping and talking loudly, and making claims and comments that seemed rude. Do these people have no respect for the Guru? Why would you sit in the darbar sahib, in front of the Guru, and act like this? If you really want to watch videos on your phone, go outside the darbar hall and do it. If you really want to gossip loudly and talk about how great a person you are, do it outside. It is hypocritical that they installed doors to enter the darbar hall, presumably to keep away noise, yet they themselves make all the noise in the presence of the Guru.

5) They were doing kirtan while guests were coming in, and the middle guy disrupted the shabad just to tell people to move closer to the front. Why would you disrupt a shabad for this nonsense? Continue to do kirtan with devotion. It is not your problem where people sit. The guests will figure it out themselves. Besides there was still plenty of space, and did it not occur to you that maybe they were saving the space in the front for the bride and groom’s families?

6) They announced the bride’s name wrong many times. Read the name as it was given to you. Even one letter can change the name completely. And this is a wedding where they are asking for blessings to start their married life - why would you repeatedly say the name wrong, changing the bride’s name to someone else’s?

7) I found it funny they turned off the lights and fans in the darbar right after the wedding. You get paid thousands to hold a wedding, can’t be bothered to properly prepare for it so that guests can be comfortable, and you turn off the lights right after to usher people out of the comfort of the Guru? You can’t even wait until everyone has exited from the darbar hall?

After my last visit, I don’t believe they take care of the Guru, gurdwara, and the visitors in good faith. It definitely feels like they do it for show and arrogance.

Hi, I wanted to leave this review due to the fact That I stumbled across this beautiful gorgeous temple while, looking for a job. It’s not like he was pulling me in or just me wanting to see it. So, I approached the door. They instructed me taking off my shoes. I was wearing a hair cover, not in the traditional sense. And I was blown away by the absolute generosity love joy respectfulness of me being marvelously by what I was wearing, and outsider, although, there were others many others with casual dress. I just spoke to one of my friends, which I’ve always been gravitated to Sikh people I’ve ran into and maintained friendships with them. I will soon travel back to this beautiful can’t even describe it. Even the pictures do not do it justice and the generosity. The love doesn’t do it justice that I’m trying to explain please if you go be respectful if you don’t know what’s going on and they are happy to help, read this over well over five stars if I could. So, I actually live closer now. I’ll be frequenting it quite a bit. There was food. There was just it was just a moment of aw. Especially after you learn about the Sikh. So can’t wait to go back due to the beauty, the love and most definitely the humbling experience. I’m not sure if I can, but I would love to maybe convert to. Sikh But at least as much as I can due to the fact that I am serviced others. So please enjoy only if you’re respectful and ready to have your mind blown.

Have been coming to this gurdwara for a very long time, even got married here. Today I’ve had a very horrible experience not with waheguru but within the langar. I simply came to feed my daughter and I had two women sit across from me, staring at me, laughing at me, making all kinds of hateful faces towards my daughters and myself. This is the first time I’ve had this happen to me. My daughter and I were extremely uncomfortable and had a horrible evening due to these two bullies coming into the gurdwara! This is a place where you find peace, pray, and meditate, if you are coming here to bring hate, racism, or anything else just stay at home this isn’t the place for you. Sikhism teaches that all are equal and all are 1, therefore nobody can judge someone based on their nationality or where they have came from. With that being said, I will begin to proceed with the images of these two women who made a very uncomfortable experience for my daughter and I. Be on the look out for these bullies as they are not truly religious they are just evil human beings.
