I love temple and whole heartedly visit temple every Sunday. I sometimes help in washing dishes at both temples in Kamloops. I respect people and temple’s rules.
However, there always be some people who will try to be nosy and act as owner of the temple. Specifically, women working in kitchen.
My mother was not fine and did not go to gurudwara. I thought I will bring prashad and food for her. When everyone was almost done and nobody was in the line, I went to take some food from staff serving food. I was taking food , then this lady from kitchen came to talk to me and told me not to bother staff who is serving. Rather than this, collect from the kitchen next time just to prove her authority (in English rather than Punjabi). Because they are serving. I could not say much except telling her that nobody was there at serving station for eating prashad. That’s why I took it from them instead of kitchen and everyone takes it from station not kitchen. She again said they are serving. I agreed and left. But one question, whom were they serving when no body was in the line and everyone took food.
I have found so many ladies like that who think its their gurudwara because they cook and do volunteer services.
I try to do my contribution in many ways possible.

Very clean. The parshad is so good here. It’s a bit tricky to get to, you need to have access to a vehicle as it’s not easily accessible by foot.

It itself is a very big relief to see Gurudwara Sahib Ji in a place like Kamloops. Although God is Omnipresent but Such a religious place and Kirtan (Devotional Singing) brings eternal Peace and connectivity to God. SATNAM SHRI WAHE GURU JIO, SATNAM, SATNAM.
