A great place for worship. I could totally feel the positive vibes and I really appreciate the giving back community they have.

No one would ask you any question about who you are , why you are there and so on. They feed you delicious food in the langar and they respect who you are.

I recommend this place for tranquility as well as sumptuous, healthy vegetarian meal. DONATE if you can so that they can feed a less privileged one.

Major respect to all the hardworking volunteers of this gurdwara, and the entire Sikh community of Vancouver (which I've heard is one of the biggest in the country). A while ago, I was told that if I ever found myself in need, I could walk into any gurdwara and sit down for a meal in the langar (dining hall) with no judgement, as all ethnicities and beliefs are welcome to visit as long as you are respectful. Be sure to cover your hair when inside out of respect for the beliefs (bring your own bandana or they also have veils to borrow at the entrance).

Years later, I found myself in a bind due to lack of stable employment and the economic situation. I've been coming by to visit the langar almost every week and it's certainly helped ease a lot of the burden of these tough financial times. The food is healthy, wholesome, and most importantly delicious (especially the dhal and roti). Thank you to the community for your service.

Very beautiful, well maintained, plenty of parking. The men at the donation booth were very respectful, as was the sevadar who served me prashada. Women were attending this gurdwara at the same time as me. I felt perfectly safe as well. No one harassed me while I meditated. I found peace meditating in the presence of SGGS Ji. I will be returning to this gurdwara.
