It’s a home away from home. I met lot of people from my country here and had very good interaction with everyone. The place is calm, divine and gives you a sense of belonging. Since coming to Victoria, the food I had in langar of the Gurudwara was the best. A must visit for all Indians in particular and everyone in general. Sat Sri Akal.

While walking by with my dogs there was a celebration of Baisakhi. I was told to come eat and celebrate as everyone is welcome. I said I would come back after I took my dogs home. I grabbed my wife and we walked back and were welcomed again. The food, people and atmosphere were all amazing. I was greatly appreciative of everyone, and their generosity and welcoming nature. What an amazing experience!

The signs are misleading as they say masks have to be worn (but majority does not wear them) and that langar is severed between a certain amount of time (but that isn’t the case). Other than the misleading signs, the staff / volunteers are super friendly and is willing to help you, tell you stories about the temple and more!
