During the COVID-19 epidemic this Gurdwara community did selfless service (seva) and got a recognition of this from the local police. They flew two helicopters above the Gurdwara and showered it with flowers. The police motorcade drew past with full sirens to honor the contribution to the local community. This is a fruit of Guru Nanak’s teachings about recognizing humanity as One. He instilled in us to work hard, share all we got from Waheguru and remembering God always. It was a very kind gesture by the local police to make this honor to the volunteers
